The primary species that are grown at Interforest are teak (Tectona grandis), melina (Gmelina arborea) and Caribbean pine (pinus caribaea). On a smaller scale we manage cipres (Cupresus lusitanica), pine (Pinus ayacahuite, pinus maximinoi, pinus oocarpa), mundane (Acrocarpus fraxinifolius) and mahogany (Swietenia macrophila). Within the company assets, Interforest also manages 4000 ha of natural forests, which have a large variety of native Guatemalan flora and fauna.
